Photojournalists create images in order to tell a news story. A photojournalist like a writer is a reporter and often have to make quick decisions and carry photographic equipment.

The most important thing when you are a photo journalist is to always have your camera with you... at all times.

Take photography classes and get in the know.
the better you are at photography, the better you will be as a photojournalist. Start taking photo's of everything! If something is happening, be there with your camera to capture the stills

The only downer- Education.

You will need to have studied journalism at university or atleast studied it in high school. it would probably help to study art/photography also.
